About the event
This is an informal group of Bengali women over 50 that gets together each Wednesday to enjoy a guided walk at a pace all members can manage, with bi-lingual lead, Kolsuma. The group meets every Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Brady Centre, with the walk getting under way very soon after this time and lasting until 1:00 pm.
The event is part of the WHFS (Women’s Health & Family Services) project, Stay Active @ 70+, which supports older people to become more active and get involved in volunteering. Please click here to read more about the project.
Who can attend the event?
The event is aimed at Bengali women, but if you are a woman over 70 living in Tower Hamlets you are also very welcome to join in.
How to book your place
There’s no need to book, just put on your most comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water to enjoy this sociable, safe, physical exercise.
