Community Based Research
As a grass roots organisation working closely with individuals and groups in the community WHFS is well placed to play a role in community-based research as a way to encourage meaningful and relevant evidence about how different communities manage their health in Tower Hamlets. WHFS values the contribution that community groups make in the development of knowledge about community health practice and as a consequence has developed a trained team of bilingual workers in research techniques to work alongside academic departments and research agencies in carrying out community research.
